The Stables and Courtyard - O'Dowd Cottages
Previously used as a large stable block and courtyard (mainly for horses - the tack room still exists) it dates from the end of the 17th century. Castleconnor Developments intends to develop 13 cottage style units on this site. The units will be finished to a high specification with stone and timber floors, plastered walls, panel doors and fully furnished to suit all holiday and recreation needs.
The cottages will be sold as individual units (unless previously sold as one lot) with each purchaser becoming a member of a management company.
A small annual contribution from each purchaser will be collected to ensure the maintenance of the surrounding grounds to the highest standard. The refurbishment will be sympathetic and all traditional features and the current building will be retained. Construction work is anticipated to start in June 2002 with a completion and handover of units commencing in February 2003.
